Sometimes, you just don’t want to get that monkey off your back. Amateur photographer Carol Smith recently captured this long-tailed macaque hitching a ride from a Chital deer in Malaysia.

“There seemed to be a real bond between the two,” Smith said, adding that the pair hung out together for 20 minutes as the monkey groomed its new friend.
